Stop! Demo time.

Here they are!  Huge thanks to our wonderful engineer Reed Taylor for all of these wonderful tracks.  And thanks to all the talented folks who came into the studio with us: MD Rich Silverstein; musicians Ian Axness, Eric Day, Danny Jonokuchi, Jeremy Yaddaw, and Andrew Zinsmeister; and singers Ally Bonino, Liz Carbonell, Max Chernin, Charles Franklin, Sam Heldt, Brad Standley, and Lauren Worsham.

Hear all of the tracks in story order with the rest of our demos on their WORKS pages!

The demos are coming! The demos are coming!

Julia and I are back in the studio to record some new tracks for I Love You, Anita Bryant and Something Blue.  We’re recording 14 tracks with some of our very favorite people, and it’s been a blast so far!  The new tracks should be available and posted in mid-September, so keep an eye (ear?) out.

(We’ve also got Sam Heldt, Lauren Worsham, Nick Blaemire, and Dustin Sullivan singing for us, but I’m bad about taking enough pictures…)

Want something new? SOMETHING BLUE!

Videos are now online from last month’s concert of songs from Something Blue!  Check out the 9 songs we presented at the D-Lounge, featuring the wonderful Jeremy Morse, Blake Segal, and Phoebe Strole!

Thanks to Joe Barros, Laura Brandel, and everyone at the New York Theatre Barn for welcoming us back to the D-Lounge.  Big thanks to director Ethan Heard, music director Rich Silverstein, and musicians Chris Blacker, Michael Blancaflor, David White, and Andrew Zinsmeister.

We can’t wait to finish this show and share it again sometime soon!

tumblr_nf78qiewHR1sb2xq3o1_1280Tonight’s the night! We had a wonderful sitzprobe last night (pictured above in the music room at Julia’s dayjob – yes, that’s One World Trade Center hidden behind the break in the windows.) It was the first time I’d heard most of the songs with the band and I can’t wait to share them with the audience at the D-Lounge tonight!

If you can’t make it, be on the lookout for photos and videos in the next few weeks!
