Want something new? SOMETHING BLUE!

Videos are now online from last month’s concert of songs from Something Blue!  Check out the 9 songs we presented at the D-Lounge, featuring the wonderful Jeremy Morse, Blake Segal, and Phoebe Strole!

Thanks to Joe Barros, Laura Brandel, and everyone at the New York Theatre Barn for welcoming us back to the D-Lounge.  Big thanks to director Ethan Heard, music director Rich Silverstein, and musicians Chris Blacker, Michael Blancaflor, David White, and Andrew Zinsmeister.

We can’t wait to finish this show and share it again sometime soon!

We had a wonderful sitzprobe last night (pictured above in the music room at Julia’s dayjob – yes, that’s One World Trade Center hidden behind the break in the windows.) It was the first time I’d heard most of the songs with the band and I can’t wait to share them with the audience at the D-Lounge tonight!

If you can’t make it, be on the lookout for photos and videos in the next few weeks!

I promised you details, so here are details!

The NYTB concert of Something Blue on Monday, November 17 is almost upon us.  If the prospect of hearing new Gordon & Julia songs weren’t enough to get you there, come so you can hear the wonderful Jeremy Morse, Phoebe Strole, and Blake Segal sing said new songs, as directed by Ethan Heard and musically directed by Rich Silverstein!

Tickets and more info will be up on the New York Theatre Barn website soon!

The D-Lounge doors open at 7pm, show starts at 7:30.

NEW MUSICAL ALERT!

Julia and I are super excited to present songs from our newest musical Something Blue with New York Theatre Barn at the D-Lounge on Monday, Nov. 17 at 7:30pm.  We’re putting everything together for it right now, so stay tuned for updates!

Something Blue tells the story of a man who travels to his ex-boyfriend’s wedding to a woman.  Three people, lots of songs.  Listen to a few of them here!

I’m excited to return to NYTB @ The D-Lounge (almost exactly 7 years after my first NYC concert there) and happy to be sharing the bill with the wonderful Jay Alan Zimmerman!  Be on the lookout for ticket info soon…
