Gordon Leary
Tonight’s the night! We had a wonderful sitzprobe last night (pictured above in the music room at Julia’s dayjob – yes, that’s One World Trade Center hidden behind the break in the windows.) It was the first time I’d heard most of the songs with the band and I can’t wait to share them with the audience at the D-Lounge tonight!
If you can’t make it, be on the lookout for photos and videos in the next few weeks!
Next Monday! 7:30pm!
Come on down to the D-Lounge to hear a selection of songs from our new musical Something Blue on a double bill with Jay Alan Zimmerman‘s Roboticus.
I’m so happy to get to hear 6 brand new songs sung for the first time (and 3 that we’ve enjoyed since we recorded them last year.)
Tickets are available here.
I promised you details, so here are details!
The NYTB concert of Something Blue on Monday, November 17 is almost upon us. If the prospect of hearing new Gordon & Julia songs weren’t enough to get you there, come so you can hear the wonderful Jeremy Morse, Phoebe Strole, and Blake Segal sing said new songs, as directed by Ethan Heard and musically directed by Rich Silverstein!
Tickets and more info will be up on the New York Theatre Barn website soon!
The D-Lounge doors open at 7pm, show starts at 7:30.
Happy anniversary to my dear friends Jeremy Gold Kronenberg & Robert Anthony Jones! Their beautiful wedding gave Julia and me the chance to write the kind of love song we never get to write in our musicals.
