An early slice of PIED!

tumblr_ngfbos7YoQ1sb2xq3o1_500hCome on down to the Musical Theatre Factory on Monday night for a slice of PIED!

Julia and I are so excited to present an excerpt of the show, up on its feet for the first time, as part of this month’s installment of 4×15 on Monday, December 15 at 8:30pm.  Directed by Portia Krieger and with music direction by Rich Silverstein, the 15-minute excerpt will feature Dana Steingold, Sam Heldt, Libby Servais, Adam Stasiw, andAmy Linden (L-R, pictured above.)

The evening will feature 15-minute excerpts of four new musicals (including shows by our friends Andrea Lepcio and Bill Nelson) with some industry feedback after each presentation.  It should be a fun night with a fun, new company devoted to new musicals!

tumblr_nf78qiewHR1sb2xq3o1_1280Tonight’s the night! We had a wonderful sitzprobe last night (pictured above in the music room at Julia’s dayjob – yes, that’s One World Trade Center hidden behind the break in the windows.) It was the first time I’d heard most of the songs with the band and I can’t wait to share them with the audience at the D-Lounge tonight!

If you can’t make it, be on the lookout for photos and videos in the next few weeks!

Next Monday!  7:30pm!

Come on down to the D-Lounge to hear a selection of songs from our new musical Something Blue on a double bill with Jay Alan Zimmerman‘s Roboticus.

I’m so happy to get to hear 6 brand new songs sung for the first time (and 3 that we’ve enjoyed since we recorded them last year.)

Tickets are available here.

Tickets and more info will be up on the New York Theatre Barn website soon!

The D-Lounge doors open at 7pm, show starts at 7:30.
